Who we are

Quantitative Partners is a specialised consulting firm, serving a selected and limited circle of financial institutions, NGOs and family offices in Luxembourg. Founded by graduates from the University of Luxembourg’s most advanced programme in quantitative finance, its core competency lies in the quantitative enhancement of portfolio strategies and data-based models across the asset lifecycle in private and public markets. It closes a persistent gap between academic research and its practical application in the investment industry and grants its clients access to cutting-edge concepts which often remain exclusive to top financial firms with dedicated quantitative divisions. This ambition is also reflected in the diverse academic and professional backgrounds of the four founding partners.

Leonardo Cruciani is a PhD candidate in the University of Luxembourg’s Finance Department with a research focus on the use of large language models in private equity. Originally trained in physics and specialised in finance, he is experienced in the restructuring of data architectures and AI integration in trading processes and the design of econometric tools and workflows.

Anton Makarov is pursuing a PhD at the University of Luxembourg on theoretical econometrics and their use in machine learning applications. He studied theoretical economics at Russia's most prestigious university and holds a degree in computer science. His practical experience stretches from machine learning engineering to automated trading.
